Looking for Information About the 11 State Questions?

Oklahoma citizens are now starting to focus intently on the upcoming General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 2. In addition to the candidates, state voters will also be asked to decide the future of 11 State Questions.

If you are looking for reliable information about the 11 State Questions which will be on the ballot, we recommend the following three sources:

1) Oklahoma Family Policy Council's 2010 Voters' Guide has information on many of the candidates and all the 11 State Questions. OFPC's Voters' Guide can be found at www.FocusVoter.com

GOP's Pledge to America Released

Ahead of the Nov. 2 General Election, the House Republican Conference yesterday released their Pledge to America. Here is the Preamble to their document.

You can also learn about the national Democratic Party issue positions by clicking here. This week, former President Bill Clinton encouraged the Democratic Party leadership to release a similar postion statement with no more than five tenets. It remains to be seen if they will do so.

Don't Forget to Vote Today

Today, March 2nd, all registered voters in Oklahoma City have a chance to vote in the mayoral election being decided in Oklahoma City. Polling places will be open until 7 p.m. tonight.

Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett is seeking his third four-year term as OKC's mayor. He is being challenged by newcomer Steve Hunt, who is challenging Mayor Cornett based on his disputed handling of the MAPS 3 measure, which was approved 54.3 percent to 45.7 percent by city voters last December.

Don't forget to vote today.
